I forgot to updated the intro page to include email addresses. Not much good if I want to get direct feedback.
My conversion script (designed to convert the existing www.fishkeeping.co.uk shop database) was deleting the existing entries. This was a VERY bad idea, as they will most likely be required during the transition period.
Looks like I made a mistake when I said 0.9.3 was the final release. Having used my own link to Google in the last release note, it was clear that 0.9.4 was the final release.
I finally managed to extract this file from an archive of my old projects database. Doesn't look like there were any majors changes, just some minor feature tweaks.
This was the last release of the code I ever made. At the time there was always the plan to aim for a final 1.0.0 release, but it never materialised.
This is something I wrote many years ago. It was originally designed as a way to bypass my companies firewall (which blocked FTP) so that I could maintain my website in my lunch break.
It went through several re-writes and was extensively used both as a client for accessing FTP sites from behind a firewall and also to provide a web based front end to existing FTP servers.
A quick Google search will show that it was used by several medium to large sites.
I'm currently toying around with this drupal site, trying to determine whether its a sensible replacement for my existing website.
While it was fun writing my own site and allowed me great flexibility I spent most of my time ignoring it as maintaining it was a pain.
This is the first development release of the LFS module. The aim was to get something with the bare minimum of user functionality up and running on www.fishkeeping.co.uk.
The current release supports the following features:
- Add / Edit of shop
- Rate shops
- Comment on shops
- Search for shops (currently only based on postcode)
An xoops plugin module designed for use on www.fishkeeping.co.uk.
It has been designed to replace the existing module which was primarily designed to provide a means for shops to advertise. However recently there has been a core for a community driven system which will allow the users of the site to provide recommendations of shops they have used.
Users can post comments (reviews etc...) and ratings. Geographical searching is provided to allow users to find local shops, and GoogleMaps is used to display the results.
